About the Artist
Artist Statement
I am Lynn Robey from Dexter, Missouri. I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008 with a BFA and a BS in Education K-12. I graduated from Fontbonne University in St Louis with a MA in 2010 and a MFA in 2011. I am still continuing my education there developing more skills and seeking a Master of Arts in Teaching and Education.
I call myself the diverse artist because I create artwork across many mediums. Since I can remember I have been creating artwork, from drawing on the dirt with a stick to making buildings out of grass. I have this God given gift, which I am sharing with the world. Creating pieces of art whether it is paintings, ceramics, sculptures, drawing, metalsmithing, printmaking, or a combination thereof. Art is like breathing for me.
